Dear City of Ashland
For many this air of hippy/yuppie-spiritual, whatever, is choaking, but when I look at it I see the beautiful sunset it makes. Tonight there was a outrageous red, purple and orange sky as the sun set (and last night as well). The clouds were all mixed around and seperate. One was gray, one bright white with rays of heavenly light coming out of it. Religious as my friend Eric commented to me.
He was right and it got me to thinking. Why so many crazy skies lately? Is the spiritual mind clouding particurlay thick? Is there a fire somewhere close by making smoke? I don't think so, so there is only one more explanitation. It is me.
So this is why I am writing. I live on Greenbriar Place. I know it dosn't happen regularly, and it is a big request, but I want you to change the name of my street. I think the circumstances make this a valid request with my new knowledge of my...divinity? Greenbriar Pl. should hence forth be called, both legally and publically, Jesus' Place. In honor of me.
Thank you very much for your time, and I hope this letter gets into the right hands.
Sincerely,
Jon Raby
